Extreme Productions Featured On Another Platinum Weddings TV Episode!

A whole new “Platinum Weddings TV Show” featuring Extreme Productions Entertainment recently aired in April!  So fun! Ashleigh and Kristopher Yates were a blast to work with and we cannot wait to see the final result of the editing and production of their Sacramento area wedding celebration. The wedding took place at the Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills, Ca. We worked with the amazing Debra Hiebert with Tres Fabu Event Planning and Design who took the vision the couple had and brought it to life! WOW! Shelly with Floral Artistry did an AMAZING job on the florals. Breathtaking! Serrano Country Club (we love ya Jennifer!!!) did an amazing job on the food and beverage presentation… and allowed us to have the event space to produce the event! Sarah Maren Photography captured the moments. Sheffield Multimedia captured the moments AND provided a same day edit for playback leading into a great surprise. Extreme Productions Entertainment worked with Ashleigh and Kris (and their amazing parents) to design a master of ceremony, music, entertainment, lighting and…. event aerial pyrotechnics display for their celebration. The Sheraton Grand Hotel Transformed For Italian/Guatemalan Inspired Wedding

It’s funny. The significance of lighting and production design is never more apparent than when you want to take your guests on a journey or transform an event space to create a theme that fits your personality or vision. When Stephanie and Justin Castillo chose Extreme Productions Entertainment to be their DJ/MC and Lighting and Production company for their wedding, we JUMPED at the chance! Stephanie and Justin told us in our first planning meeting “We want to take our guests on a journey… we want to feel like we are celebrating in a courtyard in Guatemala… or Italy… or any of the other romantic courtyards we have ever visited.”

We love  it when we have the opportunity to take guests on  a journey 🙂

The beautiful Sheraton Grand Hotel – Sacramento was the stage for this wonderful and fun event. Our design included dividing the ballroom into sections to accomplish the wedding courtyard reception (as pictured above) along with a beautiful rustic chapel inspired church setting for the ceremony to take place (below)

Debra and her team from Tres Fabu Event Planning and Design always go above and beyond. This wedding was no exception. Debra surprised our wonderful clients with a massive (and beautiful) working fountain complete with Italian paver tile. She even laid moss in the cracks to make it appear as if this piece of the courtyard had been there for years! Talk about a WOW factor!

When the bride and groom entered their reception in a private “room reveal”, their reaction said it all… “Over the top! WOW! We could not have imagined anything like this… we cannot believe this is OUR wedding!”

Those are the reactions we strive for! 🙂

A Very Special Surprise At A 25th Anniversary Celebration

We LOVE the opportunity to help create a great surprise! We produced a 25th Anniversary celebration for Tom and Julia Wilbert on Friday. One of the many things we love about this couple is how close they are with their family. Ashleigh, one of their fabulous daughters (who… by the way… we produced a fab wedding for in July of this year 🙂 ), lives in Hawaii and told her parents weeks before the wedding she was unable to make it to the party as her husband Kris could not get leave from the military. Julia and Tom were bummed to hear the news 😦

Well… Ashleigh, Debra from Tres Fabu Event Planning and Matt from Extreme Productions Entertainment went right to work on setting up the perfect surprise! So you can imagine how my heart literally leaped from my chest when I realized our Ahi Tuna server girl was my beautiful daughter! Lighting and Entertainment Transforms a Wedding at the Citizen Hotel – Sacramento

At Extreme Productions Entertainment… we LOVE our couples!!! We began working with Melissa Byrd and Thomas Lawson in November of 2008. Our mission… to create a fun, elegant, warm and whimsical atmosphere for the wedding celebration. Ohhh and when the dancing portion of the evening was to be introduced… make sure EVERYONE was on the dance floor.

This… well this was no problem!

Incorporating the colors of the wedding and using “scene changes” with the lighting, we were able to create different moods throughout the dinner service and into the formalities of the evening. Then, when the dancing was about to begin, we staged just the right introduction to the dance floor to make sure EVERYONE was included in the party.

“Perfect! Wow! Everything was amazing and blew us away” was the response from our groom Thomas at the end of the night. We love that. We love WOW!

We love a reaction that blows away our clients when they see their vision produced with Extreme Productions!

We highlighted aspects of the wedding celebration with soft but warm lighting. A must to insure all elements of your wedding are included. The bar, the cake, the headtable… allow them all to shine!
